I think the greatest advice that a friend gave me was to use Just Oral Boards for my preparation. I would recommend to my friends the full 26 sessions and at least 6 month start date prior to the exam. This board is all about practice.Thanks again for all the help.

Dear Just Oral Boards,
I wanted to let you know that I passed my orals- this was the second time and in my mind had to be the last time. Knowledge wasn’t my problem( at least based on the written boards), but practicing. It was a last minute decision and the best that I took regarding preparing for the boards. I did the Rapid Sequence Track and it was great- major topics have been discussed and I did get great feedback from the examiners. Well, only those who take oral boards and fail repeatedly while studying hard for them, will fully appreciate sweet taste of victory- finally passing this challenging and subjective exam. This is not a test to be passed based on knowledge base alone or just the clinical expertise for that matter.Therefore, it is hard to overestimate the role JOB plays in getting the job done. Dear Just Oral Boards,
I have taken numerous courses offered by different individuals, but none offered me a duplicate of what the real exam parallels until I took Just Oral Boards. I was glad that I bought as many stems as I could to practice via Skype. The fact that different examiners gave me their expert feedback allowed me to become more open minded and flexible with my answers. Spending hours with classmates can be helpful, but they may not have the skills to teach what the ABA examiners expect. Therefore, I highly recommend Just Oral Boards for not only first timers but repeaters as well.

Dear Just Oral Boards,
I have to add my testimonial to the effectiveness of this program. This was my 5th (yes, 5th) attempt at the oral exam.I have taken all of the major board prep courses and they have all been beneficial. Some are great at providing in-depth and up-to-date facts while others are very good at hitting the major case scenarios and organizing talking points and likely differentials. These are excellent courses and just what many people need. I finally realized that the factual information was not my deficiency; but, the ability to present information logically and not “stress” when sideswiped by unanticipated questions.I took Track 6 along with the weekend Crash Course Lecture Series. There was obvious concern by my examiners when I first started secondary to my poor delivery and flustered state. By the time I had had taken 20 exams, the situation had improved immensely. After the Lecture Series, I was feeling much better and the last few exams were pivotal as I realized my answers matched the suggested answers, and the examiners’ feedback boosted my confidence. This is by far the best board course for the oral exams. I took the comprehensive course (Track 6) which was excellent and perfect for the real exam. To anyone who wants to pass orals the FIRST time…Take Just Oral boards. I was instructed by a friend to take this course. I took Track 6 and ten more additional exams after that to ensure I had covered all of my bases. In the end, I did pass the FIRST time, Praise GOD! The key to success is not only practicing (and praying), but practicing with an examiner who knows What and How questions will be asked. You don’t get this from other courses. You guys are awesome!

I truly feel that taking your mock exams was the key to my preparation and success with the oral board exam. Dear Just Oral Boards,
Simply put, I would not have passed this exam on the first shot without Dr. Tran’s “Just Oral Boards”. I participated in both the Skype mock orals and took his 3-day weekend class..twice. Both were right on the money. Personally, I felt that the class was most critical to my success. There’s simply no substitute for face-to-face experience and being in the “hot seat” with a challenging examiner, then reviewing your performance on video. Being able to see your mistakes, including body language and non-verbal cues, then correcting them prior to the boards gave me a significant advantage. You can literally see yourself improving exam by exam. Plus, at least two of my actual oral boards “grab bags” were almost exact questions I faced-off with Dr. Tran in class. The feeling of knowing that I was about to crush those questions on exam day was a crucial confidence booster in the heat of battle.
This exam is not just about preparation, but PROPER preparation. As someone who took several different board prep classes, I can wholeheartedly say that the guidance you will receive from Dr. Tran and his team is unparalled. Thank you “Just Oral Boards”!
